Saturday’s headstone cleaning event has moved from Placerville Union Cemetery to Diamond Springs Cemetery.
We’ll start with a brief history of the cemetery, followed by a demonstration of the headstone cleaning process.
Details: Supervisors will be on hand to show volunteers VA-approved, safe headstone cleaning techniques. Cleaning supplies will be provided but if you can, please bring gloves.
All ages are welcome. Snacks and water will also be provided. Advance registration required.
Wear: sun hat, work clothes (long pants) and sturdy shoes/boots. Terrain is irregular.
